An Fe occurrence/prospect located in the NW¼SE¼ sec. 11, T10N, R13E, SBM, about 9 km SE of Kelso and 4.7 km (2.9 miles) NW of Fountain Peak (coordinates of record), along the western slope of the Providence Mountains, W of Cornfield Spring, on private (patented) land within a federal reservation land (Mojave National Preserve/East Mojave National Scenic Area). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 2 (SE California Carbonate Assemblage).
Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 53.34 meters and comprised of a 600 foot adit at a depth of 175 feet.
