A former stone (crushed/broken) deposit/quarry located in sec. 15, T16N, R13E, SBM, 3.4 km (2.1 miles) NNW of the Mescal Range (coordinates of record), about 9.4 km WNW of Kokoweef Peak (summit) and 1.7 km (1.1 miles) W of Mountain Pass (town), along the S side of Interstate highway 15 (located claim). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Local rocks include Devonian marine rocks, unit 1 (Death Valley).
Workings include unspecified surface openings (the topo map reflects a large demarcated area with an open cast mine symbol labeled "gravel pit).
