A Cu occurrence/prospect located in sec. 17, T2N, R26E, SBM, 6.9 km (4.3 miles) NW of Monument Peak (coordinates of record) and 6.9 km (4.3 miles) NW of Cross Roads (town), within an Indian reservation (Colorado River Indian Reservation). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
This property was examined in conjunction with the mineral appraisal of the Whipple Mountains Wilderness Study Area (WSA) (Bureau of Land Management) in 1980. Backup information can be found in the WFOC mineral property files; however, since it is outside of the WSA, it was not included in the U.S. Bureau of Land Management Open File Report 50-87.
