A former lode & placer (?) Au mine located in secs. 27, 28 & 30, T1N, R13E, MDM, 3.0 km (9,800 feet) N of Tulloch Mountain, along the Stanislaus River/Calaveras County line, on private land. Claims are 590 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Local rocks include Plio-Pleistocene and Pliocene loosely consolidated deposits.

Workings include underground openings comprised of 12 adits.
