Deposit: Most ore came from zone exposed for 700 ft at surface, 1-12 ft thick, extending 130 ft down dip. On adit level, ore zone consists of 2 ragged lenses of white talc separated by a zone of talc stringers. The irregular lenticular ore bodies lie along the contact or in dolomite a short distance to the south. Chlorite-rich material often occurs on the hanging wall side of the ore zone.
Development: Claims were later taken over by mrs. Maude reed who leased them out with little production until 1938 when lessee roy coulon produced most of the property's ore except for a period of production by southern california minerals co. The property was owned by blue star talc mines, ltd. In early 1950's, who made a small production; bought by sierra talc and clay co. In 1952.
