Comments:"On schists at Franquenies, [pickeringite] forms white to pinkish porous masses with silky lustre. Van Tassel considers another substance found at the locality - forming white fibroradiating tufts - to be "ferropickeringite" (7,48% FeO), or, more likely, a mixture of pickeringite and melanterite." (Hatert et al., 2002)
