Description
Type Locality:	Wessels Mine (Wessel's Mine), Hotazel, Kalahari manganese fields, Northern Cape Province, South Africa is the type locality for Effenbergerite
Comments:	It occurs in pectolite veins which transect a fine grained massive matrix of sugelite, braunite and manganite. Additional minerals accompanying the assemblage include copper, calcite, clinozoite and quartz.
