Comments:First found in the fluorite-baryte mine at Wagon Wheel Gap, near Creede, in Mineral County. The fluorite-baryte-bearing vein that contains the mineral is in Tertiary lava flows and tuffs of predominantly rhyolitic and quartz latitic composition.
