PhotosQuartz - Greely Quartz Occurrence, Greely, Osgoode Township, Carleton Co., Ontario, Canada

27th Jul 2013 18:01 UTCTim Jokela Jr

3 photos of quartz from this locality.

3 localities for exactly the same style of smoky quartz in one small area.

Is this occurrence actually distinct from the Grant Quarry and the Blair Farm occurrences?

Many thanks to anybody that can straighten this out!

This is the Blair Farm occurrence, by the name described in Sabina's guide.

Hello,

Does anyone actually know the location of this occurence? From what I gather collecting is not encouraged, but I would like to try-out the road-cuts nearby and perhaps try to speak with the landowner; as I live nearby.

Much appreciated

Matthew
