Can you help me please with identify white mineral on Strengite ? ( Photo attached, FoV 4mm).

Purple strengite is partially covered by a white layer, which is composed of thin white crystals. What minerals form a white layer? This spec. is from this loc. http://www.mindat.org/loc-23191.html

Could be simply a second generation of strengite.
