Knowledge of fakes it is very important when you buy at show or online. This is a sample of a nice oddity "from China" that I found on eBay. The price was not cheap. If you check with attention you can realize it is a sculpture and the colors are painted. I feel that the dealer didn't realize it as a fake. Play attention!

A repaired fake? What they won't do to make it look authentic.


Seems they were trying to mimic something like the "melicaria" from Mexico:
