GeneralIndicolite and pink/rose quartz

Wanted to show off this new piece i recently purchased from the Parun mine in Afghanistan. Indicolite tourmaline and that super saturated crystalline Pink/Rose quartz. As far as I know there are only two other samples of this material. They’re all pretty tiny. This is the largest at around 3.2cm. Curious if any folks have seen anymore of this material?
Thanks!
L

That's the first one from Afghanistan for me. Seen similar from Brazil; also extremely rare.

Looks like unreal, too good to be true, seems an AI generated image.
I doubt AI will generate random dust particles on the crystal faces.

I took the liberty of add data to these photos in order to find them in Parun pegmatite field page.

But if it’s adding it to a record of the location, i have a bunch of other photos, the 2 other specimens and the results of some tests i had done by a singapore lab. There was some doubt about their authenticity so i had them tested. There’s some shots of tiny tourmaline inclusions that convinced the lab.

You can do it from the Parun pegmatite field page ( https://www.mindat.org/loc-9019.html , click on photos, add photo, and follow instructions) or just upload the photos here to this thread including the size and I will add the rest of data.

Just so i know the etiquette. The other two specimens of the indicolite and rose/pink quartz aren’t mine. But i have got permission from the photographer to use the photos. Is that ok to upload?
Also, should i upload the micro shots of the tourmaline inclusions into the quartz or only the shots of the whole specimen?
Thanks! 🙏

No problem to upload photos of other people if you have permission to do so. Just indicate the photographer name for the copyright.
Close-ups of tourmaline inclusions will be welcome as child photos of the main tourmaline pic, as well as analytical data.
If you have doubts about how to upload the photos, you can always upload them one at a time to this thread and I will do the rest of the work.
