Improving Mindat.orgHerdade da Mostardeira Mine, Estremoz, Évora district, Portugal

23rd Apr 2006 12:24 UTCMartins da Pedra

Libethenite and Pseudomalachite are not part of the genesis of this Mine.

The represented photos belong to Miguel Vacas Mine.

Have deleted libethenite from the list and sent complaints to the 3 uploaders of the photographs.

Do you know of references on these 2 mines?

Ref for Miguel Vacas mine:

Rewitzer, C. & Marques de Sá, J.P.(1998) Die Miguel Vacas Mine: Eine Kupferlagerstätte im Süden Portugals. Lapis 23(5), 13-23 (in German)

Thanks Jean-Marc and Rui for the refs. - have added them.

Should the name be "Herdade de Mostardeira" or "... da ..."? (The 2002 publication gives the first spelling.)

Uwe,

Should be "... da ...".

Have confirmed this on the municipality official home page.

Olá

Thank you for the answer Rui Nunes.

In any way to affirm that doesn't have Libethenite or Pseudomalachite in this Mine, it is because I was in the field and I have the experience :-))

The represented photos belong definitively to Miguel Vacas Mine

Thank you
