Formula:
(K,Na)AlSi2O6 · H2O
Colour:
Yellowish-white
Probably a zeolite. Reported as the K analogue of analcime.
Fine-grained, cryptocrystalline, irregular masses, up to 2 cm. Product of hydrothermal alteration of nepheline syenites, Chivruai River, Lovozero massif, and Lyavoiok River, Khibiny massif, Kola Peninsula, Russia. Associates with quartz, albite, hydromuscovite.
PXRD pattern similat to that of synthetic "phase M", K2Al2Si3O10•3H2O.
