Formula:
Pd2Cu2As5S7
Actually more close to Pd2Cu2As5S8; possibly an end-member in the PdCu(As,S)6 solid solution
One of many Pd-As-bearing compounds found to occur naturally in uraninite-bearing shale and adjacent dolomite of the Lubin and Polkowice mines, within Zechstein Cu deposits of the Fore-Sudetic Monocline, Poland. The most common of these is 'UM1984-05-As:Pd'.
Chemically very similar to 'UM1984-11-AsS:CuPd' or maybe identical with it; nevertheless, both phases are the only currently known Pd-Cu-As-S ones. Compare also 'UM1984-08-As:PdS' and 'UM1984-12-AsS:Pd'.
Forms needle-like crystals; analysis was done on a 25 x 30 micron sized grain.
