5 mm yellow grain of carbokentbrooksite, a carbonate-analogue of kentbrooksite (neglecting one molecule of water) in quartz-rich part of the Dara-i-Pioz pegmatite. This is a zoom of a whole 1.9 cm wide crystalline aggregate, which can be seen at other attached photos. According to the original description, the boundary between carbokentbrooksite and quartz is built up with (creamy) zirsilite-(Ce), which would be carbonate- and Ce-analogue of kentbrooksite (also neglecting one water molecule). The nonuniformity of the carbokentbrooksite core (reddish inclusions) could come from kentbrooksite or stillwellite-(Ce) ??? This is Mikhail Murashko specimen, obtained from Sergey Vasiliev - thanks!
