11.7 x 9.2 x 4.3 cm. Two generations of ruby-jack sphalerite crystals richly cover the sculptural large chert matrix on this fabulous old Tri-State specimen from the Joe Lobell Collection. Glistening, gemmy wet-look orangey-red microcrystals are festooned on the piece. Much larger crystals, to 2.2 cm, with the same color, high lustre, but are translucent, are very attractively clustered on the right side of this classic, rich and pristine old-time specimen. The crystals glow when back lit. Classic Tri-State ruby-jack sphalerite.
