10.4 x 6.4 x 3.1 cm. Amethyst scepters are uncommon from the gem fields of Burma, and in fact from but a few locales worldwide. The striking, large, scepter has pretty purple blush color, razor-sharp crystal edges and interesting skeletal/etched features. Ex. Robert Nowakowski Collection # 395. The label accompanying the piece gives the exact locality as Tagaung [possibly identical to Tagaung-nann-daing].
