4.3 x 1.6 x 1.5 cm. Cerussite on azurite is a rare combination from Touissit. A rare 6 mm cerussite crystal included with malachite is set at the base of a sculptural pair of azurite crystals that are partially pseudomorphed by malachite. The azurites are striking in their own right with areas of electric-blue color, high lustre and exotic form. The partially pseudomorphed blocky termination and the smokestack-like rear crystal make for a very artistic and rare combination. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 8842 and acquired from Brian Lloyd in October, 1979. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
