Points of light purple Quartz (v. Amethyst) to 11 mm cover a matrix of darker purple Fluorite, displaying prominent banding on the edge. Shiny black blades of Hematite to 4 mm are nestled in the Quartz points. This is an interesting specimen from an obscure Arizona locality near the famous Grand Reef Mine. Only peripheral damage where removed.
