A Cu occurrence located in sec. 8, T10S, R13E, about 6 miles ESE of Owl Head Buttes and about 5 miles W of Oracle Junction, on private land.
Mineralization is in a shear zone(s) hosted in Samaniego Quartz Monzonite. Massive quartz veins occur; probably gash veins with light pyrite - chalcopyrite, now oxidized. The ore zone strikes N30-40E, dips vertically to 55E, and is 30.48 meters wide. Gold possibly occurs but is not coarse enough to see. Strong shearing of quartz monzonite at vein edges. Alteration is sericitic. Ore control was shear zones.
Workings include a 15 foot adit and a 50 foot deep shaft.
