An iron occurrence/prospects located in sec. 24, T6N, R13E, and in secs. 29, 30 & 32, T6N, R14E, between the Aztec Lodge and Workman Creek, on National Forest land. The deposit extends along Workman's Creek in secs. 29 & 32.

Mineralization is a replacement deposit with an irregular ore body hosted in Mescal Limestone and dolomite. Alteration includes magnetite and some hematite locally replacing certain calcareous and dolomite beds of 250-foot thick Precambrian Mescal Limestone, as a result of contact metamorphic processes. An associated rock unit is diabase.
