A once very important iron mine (6 million metric tonnes of iron ore mined from about 60km of horizontal tunnels in about 150 years) in the Belgian province of Luxembourg, just on the edge of France and Luxembourg. A minette-type ore was mined.
Mining started in 1867, amalgamated into the SA MiniĂšre et MĂ©tallurgique de Musson et Halanzy and worked until 1978.
