A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface and underground workings located in sec. 7, T13S, R12E.
Mineralization is a contact metasomatic deposit with ore in veinlets and pods. The ore zone is 1 meter wide, strikes S38E and dips 40E, and is hosted in andesite. There is abundant limonite in the shear zone. There is also some massive aggregates of specular hematite plus some magnetite in chlorite-bearing dark green breccia wallrock. A few fragments have minor quartz vein material with minor Cu minerals. Alteration is propylitic. An assciated rock unit is quartz monzonite.
Local structures include a shear zone.
Workings include an inclined shaft, tunnel, and a pit.
