A Cu occurrence/prospect located in sec. 17, T13S, R12E, on National Park land.
Mineralization is a contact metasomatic deposit in a shear zone hosted in felsic volcanic rock. The ore zone is 0.04 meters wide, strikes N80W and dips 70S. Disseminated specular hematite and minor Cu silicates occur in the shear zone. Alteration is propylitic. An associated rock unit is quartz mononite.
Local structures include a shear zone.
Workings were not reported upon.
