An interesting mine, in that the deposit is actually under the Iron Duke and Iron Duchess Mines.
The deposit was first noticed during the 1930’s, but was not mined.
Mining of the deposit began in 2007, from the deepest part of the Iron Duke pit.
It is a predominantly magnetite-rich lode.
