Workings: Williams (1952) reported that the results of a magnetometer survey on Sawlog Creek looking for a pay streak were generally inconclusive, but because the survey was performed at the request of the property owners it suggests some activity at that time. Heiner and Wolff (1968) reported one claim located in 1960.
