A sulphate-gypsum occurrence located at a road tunnel near Fort Barry.

NOTE: The only tunnel that appears on the topo maps is the Bunker Road tunnel, connecting Fort Barry with Fort Baker on the other side of U.S. highway 101/state highway 1. The only other tunnel in the area, the U.S. highway 101 tunnel, in further N near the boundary of Sausalito, and off the old military area.

Mineralization is hosted in shale.
