An U occurrence located in sec. 14, T30N, R8W, G&SRM, just W of Mohawk Canyon, on Indian Reservation land. This locality is not listed in the USGS MRDS database. The geographic coordinates presented for this locality are approximate to the center of sec. 14. Worked for copper, probably during WWI.
Mineralization is an U deposit hosted near the base of the Kaibab Limestone. The ore contains hematite and copper carbonates. Radiation is 3X background.
Workings include surface openings comprised of a small pit.
