Chromite and PGE mine exploiting dipping chromite seams within the Bushveld complex. The seams contacted the paleo surface within the property and dip between 12 to 14 degrees to the north. The site was prospected in 2006 and the mineral rights were granted in 2008. Open pit mining commenced in 2009, and mining is scheduled to transition underground in 2024.
