Named after an unplanned small drive required in the Heavy Metal South Zone to bypass bad roof conditions encountered in the limestone overburden.
Fluorite from the Bypass Pocket is recognised by the intensely dark purple daylight fluorescent of the large inter-penetrant twinned crystals which sit on a bed of smaller single intergrown fluorite.
