A former underground Ag-Pb-Au-Cu mine located on 4 patented claims, 3 miles SE of Mayer. Owned by the Pocahontas Copper Creek Mining Co. Produced 1906-1947. Claims extend into the N½NE¼NE¼ of sec. 31, and into the W½E½SW¼ of sec. 30, the NE¼NW¼ and SE¼NW¼NW¼ of sec. 31, and the E½E½W½, W½W½E½ and the E½SW¼NE¼ of sec. 19.

Mineralization is a lens-shaped ore body hosted in the Spud Mountain Volcanics. Ore control was stratigraphy for massive sulphide and faulting for the vein component. Alteration includes chloritization and sericitization near the massive sulphide.

Area structures include foliation that trends due north.

Workings include a 200 foot deep shaft.
