Structure: Fissures/Faults
Alteration: Recrystallization Of Wall Rock To A Coarse Calcite
Deposit: National fissure - about 400 ft E of the gypsy fissure. It intersects both the may day and tempest fissures and offset them a fe W feet in places. Ore occurs replacing limestone, and in conjunction with several n20 W fissures. It contained considerable copper As malachite and chrysocolla with some red and black oxides. Locally the ore extends short distances out from the fissure vein into the limestones parallel to their bedding.
