Mineralization is tyuyamunite and carnotite in lenticular masses hosted in Late Jurassic mudstone and sandstone of the Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation. The ore body is 60.96 meters wide and 457.2 meters long. Mineralization is associated with paleostream channels. Ore bodies occur in units showing the most rapid variation in thickness in the Salt Wash member of the Morrison formation. The ore in a series of connected masses 30-200 feet wide, and over 1,000 feet long, and elongated SE along the paleostream trend. Local rocks include rocks of the Glen Canyon Group and/or Oligocene to Paleocene[?] sedimentary rocks.
Workings include underground openings comprised of room and pillar workings.
