The ore occurs at depth in vein segments, lenses and irregular ore bodies. The Au occurs in sulfide ore and as free gold. Controls for ore emplacement included the fault contact. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of an inclined shaft at 2,291 feet, with drifts, crosscuts & stopes.
