A former lode Au mine located in the NW¼ (estimated) sec. 15, T20N, R5E, MDM, 1.9 km (6,300 feet) ESE of Mount Hope. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains) and/or Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of 2 inclines in the NE¼NW¼, several pits in the NW¼NW¼ and a 110 foot long adit to the vein in the W½NW¼.
