A stone deposit/quarry located in the center sec. 25, T1N, R2W, MDM, 2.6 km (1.6 miles; 8,600 feet) E of Walnut Creek center. Operated by F. A. Marshall, Danville. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Opened in MAy, 1947, but no rock had been mined or crushed here since late 1947.
Local rocks include Miocene marine rocks.
Workings include surface openings comprised of a quarry operation.
Production information: Some shipments had been made from a stockpile that still contained about 10,000 tons.
