Erroneous locality often given for the amethystine quartz specimens marketed as "cactus quartz" and "spirit quartz". The true locality for these specimens is the area around Boekenhoutshoek in Mpumalanga province. Amethystine "spirit" and "cactus" quartz photos here should be moved to Boekenhoutshoek.
