A former Cu occurrence/mine located in the S½ sec. 1, T1N, R8W, MDM, 4.9 km (3.0 miles) NNW of Bolinas, along Copper Mine Gulch, on federal land administered by the National Park Service (Golden Gate National Recreation Area). Section number questionable; MRDS stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. More than one mine in this area. This locality may be synonymous with the Union Gulch Mine (https://www.mindat.org/loc-81905.html).
Local rocks include Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).
