A Cr occurrence located in sec. 16, T24N, R8E, MDM, 2.7 km (9,000 feet) ENE of Spanish Peak and 3.3 km (2.0 miles) WNW of Meadow Valley, along Silver Creek, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 6 (Northwestern Sierra Nevada).
