A former Zn occurrence/mine. Active during WWI.

Mineralization is hosted in the Cotter & Powell Formations.
Alteration: Heavily Weathered

Deposit: Horizontal beds virtually all of these records for n. Ark. Zn/pb district are taken from descriptions of mines by a.h. Purdue, professor of the state university at fayetteville ; info.src : 1 pub lit

Development: Several digs exist beside the main openings

Geology: Bed is about four feet beneath base of soil layer. All openings are essentially on the same horizon ore is in calcite; pb & zn minerals usually separate, occasionally together.

Ore(s): Brecciated Bed; Pockets
