A former Hg occurrence/mine located in the center NE¼ sec. 25, T15S, R9E, MDM, 2.0 km (1.2 miles; 6,300 feet) SW of Llanada. Owned by H. V. Underwood. Produced during the period 1932 to 1938. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in rocks of the Franciscan Complex. Controls for ore emplacement included a NE fracture in the Panoche. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 1 (Coast Ranges) and/or Miocene marine rocks.
Local structures include fractures in Panoche Formation.
Workings include unspecified surface and underground openings with a length of 30.48 meters (the topo map reflects 2 adits symbols just W of this point).
