A former Au-Fe occurrence/prospect located in the SE¼ sec. 24, T3N, R1W, and in the SW¼ sec. 19, T3N, R1E, SBM, about 7 km NNE of Fawnskin at the head of Furnace Canyon, on National Forest land. Discovered in 1955. The property is comprised of 4 lode claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Idle in 1958.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in limestone, dolomite and marble. Associated rocks include granite. Furnace Formation calcite and dolomite marble is intruded by a granite porphyry dike. Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Mojave Desert).
Workings include surface openings. Prospected by shallow pits.
