A Au-W prospect located in the SW¼ sec. 29, T2N, R3E, SBM, 2.4 km (1.5 miles) S of Tip Top Mountain (coordinates of record) (1.8 miles S of Silver Peak [summit of Blackhawk Mountain]), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in metamorphic rock (calc-silicate schist), Local alteration includes oxidation. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 1 (Mojave Desert and Death Valley area).
Workings include surface and underground openings with a length of 6.1 meters and a overall depth of 4.57 meters and comprised of a 20 foot trench 15 feet deep.
