A former Au-W occurrence/mine located in the SW¼SE¼ sec. 7, T30S, R41E, MDM, about 2.8 km NNW of Atolia (1.2 miles S of Red Mountain, below the tailings ponds). The property is comprised of 7 claims and fractions. Operated during the 1920's and 1930's. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in schist. The ore body strikes NW and dips 70NE at a thickness of 0.91 meter. A series of N-trending fractures, 5 to 6 feet thick, are filled with brecciated wallrock and recemented with quartz. There are 2 iron-stained veins at 1 to 3 feet thick. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include underground openings comprised of 2 shafts at 240 feet and 200 feet deep, with 850 or more feet of drifts, stopes and a raise(s). A mill was erected on the property.

Analytical data results: High-grade ore was mined near the surface.
