A placer Au occurrence located in sec. 35, T38N, R9W, MDM, 5.2 km (3.2 miles) W of The Cedars, along Coffee Creek, just W of its confluence with Battle Creek, on National Forest land. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 1 (Trinity Ophiolite).
