An asbestos occurrence located in sec. 6, T39N, R6W, MDM, 4.1 km (2.6 miles) NNE of Sherer Ridge (coordinates of record), along the Trinity River, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is an asbestos deposit with 3/8 inch long fibers hosted in serpentinite. Mineralization involves shear zones. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 1 (Trinity Ophiolite).
