Los Pobres is a small adit located in Cerro Minas (Los Jarales top) with narrow entrance and short development inside highly weathered garnet lherzolites belonging to ultramafic body of Carratraca.
The mine was worked for Fe-Ni-Cu ores as narrow veins included in lherzolites. One of the most important feature is the presence of graphite and coloidal silica in conjuction with late serpentinization process through the rock fractures.
Forest benches and forest works destroyed the dumping place at the toe of the adit.
