Looks to me like the uploader just has it backwards, should be Calcite after Gypsum. It certainly has that classic pseudomorphed appearance to it, and Steve our resident Gypsum expert has a fine sample of such a pseudomorph posted for this locale. If anyone could make the call it would be Steve.

Have you proved your samples with dilute hydrochloric acid?
In our collection there are some similar samples from Cavnic. They don't effervesce in dilute hydrochloric acid, except for small globular calcite aggregates on them. According to EDS and XRPD studies this material is gypsum.
