Fluorite, Calcite

Qinglong Mine (Dachang Mine), Dachang Sb ore field, Qinglong County, Qianxinan, Guizhou, China

I haven't seen any analysis data of Yttrofluorite from Qinglong Co.

By all my analysis via EDS, there are never Y peaks from fluorites in this locality. Could you support the analysis data for these uploaded "Yttrofluorite"?

EDIT: Noticed that there are many other "yttrofluorite" photos listed for that locality

Thanks for your input.

Typically any remarks/questions about specimens from this dealer never get answered.

I know Mindat managers have the right to correct/adjust his photos, but in cases like yours, IMHO there should be some kind of feedback from the uploading party.

Does Mindat have an actual person that can be contacted (and who will reply) in cases like these?

Yes, there is a contact person, but in most such cases the specimen has long been sold and there is no chance to get an analysis. The title given is usually whatever was provided by the original seller (in this case probably someone in China). So it's best to take care of it as Uwe has already done.

Jordi Fabre had them analysed, and they found no Yttrium. You might find details on FMF or on Jordi's website.
